HOTEL PETERSBURG

A group of visionary developers are working to provide a long-awaited makeover for the Hotel Petersburg located in downtown Petersburg, Virginia. Closed since 1969 when a fire destroyed the fourth and fifth floors, the development team is working on a $13.5 million renovation to bring the property back to life. This upscale boutique hotel will include 64 rooms, street-level dining, a bar, banquet facilities, and an outdoor courtyard. Following the renovation the hotel will highlight the ground floor’s extensive marble work, decorative plaster molding, and coffered ceilings.

Retro Hospitality serves as consultant for the Hotel Petersburg project, a role the firm has had since 2019.
