A classic re-invention of a 1925 historic hotel building, which once hosted some of the era’s largest conventions, Hotel Weyanoke reopened in 2018 as a premier boutique hotel in Farmville, Virginia.

Project Overview:

Hotel Weyanoke combines historic charm with modern amenities. The property retains original architectural elements, including marble floors, a tin ceiling, windows, chandeliers, and the front desk, all dating back to the building’s 1925 opening. The hotel offers 70 mid-century modern styled rooms, spread across the historic building and the newly expanded 25,000 sq. ft. Cumberland wing. Dining options include Effinghams and the rooftop bar, Catbird, known for its signature cocktails and sweeping views. Located in Farmville, VA, the hotel is near Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College, Green Front Furniture Store, and local trails and state parks.
